Vetlympics–the one time of the year that takes place every Fall semester where CVM students from the University of the Philippines: Los Banos, actually find the time to put together spectacular performances and are able to compete against each other in the midst of the academic burden we call veterinary medicine. I didn’t go last year, because I thought it would’ve been lame to watch people perform, but since I heard I missed out on a great performance I decided…

Finally, it seems like this week would never end. I took my Pathology lecture and lab tests today. Luckily for us, our pathology teacher Dr. Molina didn’t ask us any essay questions. She just made the entire test (which consisted of 70 questions) as multiple choice which made my life a little easier. It was definitely easier to pick out the wrong choice out of four things instead of trying to explain everything that could happen in an essay. So…

So I took my Ruminant Production test today. A lot of tricky questions were there. It was a relatively short test, but I’m afraid of those tests, because things always seem a little too easy. That’s when you start being a little arrogant in the head, meaning that you might miss the one word that changes everything. I know I missed some questions, but I hope I did alright in the end. I have an upcoming Pathology lecture and lab…

I’m done with my Parasitology exam. Let’s hope it went well. The material I expected was on it, but there were still a couple of things I wasn’t sure of. I’ve got a Ruminant Production lecture exam tomorrow as well as a Pathology lecture and lab exam on Friday. I’m gonna get started on that material in a little bit. But let me first recap on what I was up to this weekend. This past Saturday my lab group in…

So I hear we have Monday off? Maybe this is a blessing! I desperately need that extra day to study! Thank you Philippine government for giving us random days off! Parasitology came out to around 60 pages… Pharmacology handout came out to around 40 pages… plus tons of Ruminant Production handouts. Gosh, I hope it all works out…

Gosh, it just seems like test after test is creeping up on me and the work needed to cover all of these upcoming tests is increasingly piling up. I’m starting to feel inundated with it all. My parasitology lecture exam, which is supposed to be held this Friday, is being petitioned by the students to be held on Monday, because they need more time. At first I wasn’t so sure I’d sign the petition (last time the students came up…

I added a couple of features to the site, including some Flickr plug-ins and the Flickr Daily Zeitgiest. Now you’ll really know what’s up with my life! Haha…

Today was a tiring but productive day. I got up at 7:30 in the morning and was picked up by James at 8am to go to our college to meet up with the rest of our group for our morning of parasite collection. There my friends Jeza, Nini, Rosebelle, and Faye met up with us. Once everyone was there we distributed supplies. You know, things like fly nets, alcohol, plastic containers to put the specimens in and some RAID to…

Looks like another week is over! I don’t know why, but it just seems that lately time has been flying. Week after week just seems to go by and everytime I find myself relieved that another week of school is done. I guess though that it’s important when tests and more quizzes start coming by again. But for now I’m happy that another week has past. The last week was kind of filled with ups and downs. I’ve been studying…

Today was a majorly busy day. I stayed on campus pretty much from 8am through 5pm. I started off the day with a parasitology lecture and then headed into a 3 hour lab session with presentations on pharmacological drugs and reports. After that I had some lunch and then headed into my immunology class where we were given a quiz not on things we were supposed to study, but actually on the lecture that he had just given to us…

Alright guys, so here it is… the new revision to the JoNPiNoY Productions web-site. It’s pretty isn’t it? I have to thank my friend Craig (www.craigpfau.com) for helping me integrate this new theme into my current WordPress and ComicPress web-site setup. Thanks to his CSS/PHP knowhow, I was able to get the functionality out of the ComicPress template and also get the modern look I wanted. There are a few kinks that need to be worked out, but for the…

Woohoo a new site is born!
