Ever hear someone describe someone else as a “bull in a china shop?” Like for example, “My girlfriend is like a bull in a china shop.” It’s an expression used to describe people who are really clumsy or destructive in either a physical or figurative sense. Well in this clip the Mythbusters help me demonstrate how the example I used with my girlfriend is actually true. =P

…I reflect on all that’s been going on around me. As I lie here in my room this Sunday morning just staring up at the blank ceiling I can’t help but feel an emptiness inside of me. Something that I can’t explain right away. So I go on re-evaluating everything in my life. Hmm… got an early morning tomorrow (or “today” rather). But can’t really sleep… I just downed a couple of smores and some Hi-C tonight. Maybe I’m on a sugar high. I can’t really tell though. I guess I’ll just lounge around until I fall asleep. Let’s hope that happens sometime soon.

My hard drive crashed and suddenly burned out on me, meaning that I ended up losing about 8 years worth of academic files, pictures, videos and such. So… this past week was Filipino Week for the Cornell Filipino Association (CFA). Basically this week entailed a bunch of events each day surrounding the Filipino culture so I did what I could to support the organization. There was everything from Filipino martial art workshops to a Filipino Night featuring prominent Filipino comedians as well an Adobo Cooking contest to top it all off.
