So most of the stuff that happened in the comic happened to me in real life. My hard drive crashed and suddenly burned out on me, meaning that I ended up losing about 8 years worth of academic files, pictures, videos and such. I want to see if there’s any way that I can revive the hard drive, but until I bring it to a computer technician there is no way I can even be sure that there’s a possibility of saving any of the information stored on it. All of my past PBC Photoshop files were on that hard drive as well, so I don’t have any of my original work from past comics anymore.

Since I’ve been having some technological issues, I’ve become frustrated with all of the things I’ve lost thus far and coming up with another comic became harder to do. For good reason, once my mind is under complete stress I can’t even think of a semi-decent story line for a comic. However, my girlfriend Jeannie has been helping me cope with some of the things I’ve been dealing with lately, and so I dedicate this week’s comic to her. She’s been able to cheer me up when no one else could, and for that I greatly thank her.

This past week has been full of fun times, with me just having my graduation party last night. It was a semi-formal event with lots of good food and dancing. Just tonight, I came back from my Cornell roommate’s grad party which was held at a great Filipino BBQ restaurant in Woodside, Queens. All of my friends from the Cornell Filipino Association (and Jeannie of course) came out to both events and we had a fun time. This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of traveling to NJ to visit Jeannie and have her tour me around her lovely, suburban town. After a great sushi buffet place, a zoo and some ice skating I came back to her place for dinner with her family to whom I found to be a lovely bunch. It’s been great and the week will be getting better. I still have more graduation parties to attend, as well as a birthday party this coming week and to top it all off this weekend my family and I are off to a 7-day cruise.

This summer is turning out to be a lot of fun, and I hope to take on a few more mini vacations while I go ahead and study for the GREs and finish up applications to veterinary school. I’ll see how things go, but I couldn’t be happier about how things have gone so far. I just feel very content right now.

Well, I gotta go, but here’s to a great summer filled with fun, laughter and happiness!
