This page lists some interesting and informational links that I’ve come across that revolve around veterinary medicine, Asian and Asian American culture, and art, as well as some miscellaneous links that I find useful. I will continue to update this page with more links as time goes on. Let me know if you think I should add more!

Veterinary Resources
A good overall atlas for general information related to red and white blood cell microscopic examination and general microscopic use. It also shows the white blood cell morphology for some common species of animals (canines, felines, equines, bovines, and avians).
This manual is one of the most useful resources that a veterinarian can ever have. It specifies important information about many animals including exotic species and has reference ranges for some of the most common animals examined in veterinary clinics. Also, summaries of different diseases and conditions are also explained and listed in this resource. Best part of this online version is that it’s free! But I do recommend that you have a hard copy on hand at all times while working in the clinic or hospital.
If you’re looking to find out more about veterinary jobs and schools in America this is a good place to start. You’ll be able to find more about what this organization does and find out what becoming a member entails. If you’re looking for information on getting into an American veterinary school you’ll find out the requirements and also what you can do to increase your chances of getting in.
IVIS is a great resource for many veterinarians, technicians and students alike. Here you can sign up for free and get access to thousands of journals, articles and other information services. I use this site a lot when I need to look up scientific papers and such for school. You can also get discounts off of textbooks as well. It’s one of the largest veterinary libraries (if not the biggest) online at the moment. A highly recommended site for the veterinary student.

Asian & Asian American Culture
Short for Wonder Girls Spectacle, it’s a widely known informational forum for the Korean girl pop group the Wonder Girls. I currently work there as a Global Moderator, and keep tabs on the threads there every now and then. It’s a place I frequent and if you haven’t already realized it, the Wonder Girls are one of my favorite music groups in Korea. Take a look!
