My wife and I at Skydeck, Chicago

So it’s been more than three years since I last updated this site. Looking back, certainly a lot has happened.

I read somewhere that it’s important to create something everyday. Whether that be drawing something, painting something, building something or just writing something down. I read that piece awhile ago, but for some reason, it just came back into my mind tonight, and I guess it’s time to start creating again.

So like I said, a lot has happened/changed since I last posted and a lot of things have still stayed the same. Some notable things to mention:

1) I did a small animal internship at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
2) I got married.
3) I got a new job.
4) I am still a big foodie, but due to my new commitments, my traveling trips are now few and far in between.
5) I am still a nerd, but in the last few years I’ve focused more on tabletop gaming (rather than video games), miniature painting and the like to pass the time.
6) I am still in New York practicing small animal medicine.

Hmm… so I guess a lot has changed since the last time I posted.

So now I have a wife, I do a few new things I do to pass the time, and I’m pretty comfortable where I am now. Guess it’s time to restart this blog and re-open the Pillow Book for more entries.

I’m thinking that I’ll post some random tabletop gaming blogs to add to this site. Also, it’s probably time to shut the Filipino Vet Student part of this site down. I’ll leave it up here for posterity’s sake, but obviously I won’t be posting in that part of the site anymore since I’m no longer a veterinary student, but a full-fledged and licensed veterinarian.

Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well. It feels good to be writing again–I’ll try to do it more often in the future.
