Back from HK!

Hey guys!

I’m back from Hong Kong and I’ve been meaning to write about it for awhile. Unfortunately, I’ve been really busy these past few days. After getting back to my home in Los Banos I left just two days later for my cousin’s place in Antipolo. I’m here right now and have been working in his clinic (he’s a vet) and tomorrow I’ll be heading to Quezon province to visit my cousin-in-law’s parents. After that I’ll be heading to a friend’s place in the Fort (aka Fort Bonifacio or The Global City) and spending about a week there. Then back off to Los Banos for my second semester.

I was initially planning to fly out again to another Asian country but after talking with a few people I thought I should focus more on exploring more of the Philippines before I take my next big trip. Next year I’ll be able to travel somewhere else I’m sure… just gotta decide where. So I’ll be exploring more of Manila and a nearby province to see more of what I haven’t seen already.

I promise that I will write a super long and detailed post of my travels in Hong Kong, and everything else that I’ll be doing this upcoming week but right now I’m actually super tired and thought I should just write about my upcoming plans. It seems like it’ll be a fun time… and I’ll finally have some time to relax and meet new people! I’m totally looking forward to it.

So guys, where are some places you would suggest I travel to next? I can only really travel to places in Asia and possibly Australia, so let me know what you think! I’d love to see your opinions.

DONE WITH THE SEMESTER!!

I took my last final in Veterinary Medicine I and now I’m done! The final wasn’t that hard. All I have to do is more or less pass the final to pass the class, but it’s finally over!

EDIT: Just found out that I passed the class… woohoo!

I just came back from running errands and picking up some last minute gifts for my girlfriend’s family, and now I’m working on packing the other things I need. Gosh, I’m so excited for my trip tomorrow that I can’t even think straight. I’m so happy that I’ll be able to go to Hong Kong and visit another Asian area for vacation and the best part is that I’ll be going with someone special. Awesome.

Anyway, I’m going to pack my stuff now and figure out what else I have to bring. So I shall leave you with a picture of my really crazy, messed up room. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PACK!

5 Classes Down, 1 Final To Go

It’s amazing how this week has turned out. Just took a surgery final for the lecture and lab yesterday and today I finished up our final for VETC 171, which is Clinics 1. It is a mandatory final, since each of our rotation heads grades each and every one of us during our respective duties. The final wasn’t that hard, and hopefully everything went well with everything I’ve taken so far.

So I have the weekend coming up. I have one more final coming up and it’s going to be probably one of the hardest (if not THE hardest) final that I’ll have to take. Only one person got exempted from the final and she only just made it to the exemption line. As for the other 99% of us we have got to study. And it’s for Veterinary Medicine I. There are so many diseases and so many treatments and medications that we have to memorize. Not only that but we have to study all the alternative methods of treatment which includes acupuncture, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy and the like. I really do enjoy the course, but it’s a lot of info, and I’ll definitely be needing all of the time this weekend to prep for it.

Plus, of course I have something to look forward to. The next morning I’ll be flying out to Hong Kong to take a well needed break. I think it will be a fun time.
